We are looking for an experienced Tarmac Reinstatement Supervisor to lead our gangs, ensuring safe, efficient, and top-quality work on every project.
SCOPE OF ROLE
As a Tarmac Reinstatement Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of tarmac gangs. You will ensure that resources, materials, transport, plant, and equipment are used effectively while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and quality.
HOW YOU’LL SUCCEED
Leading and monitoring tarmac gangs to ensure smooth operations
Ensuring all works are completed to JSM’s high standards
Promoting health, safety, and environmental policies on-site
Managing resources efficiently to meet budgets and programme deadlines
Investigating and resolving defects in collaboration with Local Authorities
Conducting audits, risk assessments, and quality checks
Keeping accurate records of production, quality, and plant maintenance
WHAT IT TAKES
5+ years’ experience in a similar supervisory role
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Knowledge of tarmac surfacing, backfilling, reinstatement, white top & black top
Experience with NRSWA regulations, Section 58, Section 74, Section 81, and Defects
Proficiency in IT systems for tracking productivity and reports
Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
A valid UK Driving Licence is required
Essential Qualifications:
CSCS and/or EUSR accreditation
NRSWA Supervisor accreditation
SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
