Growing Leeds-based PR agency is on an expansion drive and looking to appoint a PR Account Manager (AM) to their team of 9.
They work on a 50/50 mix of consumer and B2B clients across retail, legal, sustainability, utilities, insurance, construction, healthcare, education, and interiors.
They have a hybrid working model of three days in the office and the rest from home.
They pride themselves on listening to what their clients need. They immerse themselves in their clients’ worlds and create meaningful relationships with the journalists and stakeholders they want to connect with. They create powerful PR that delivers targeted coverage, boosts reputation, and makes clients proud.
Following a spate of new business wins and a chokka pipeline of opportunities, they need to build their team with strong recruits who are brimming with passion and have all the strategic know-how to drive forward results for their brilliant clients.

They are looking for a confident, experienced, and passionate Account Manager.
The candidate needs to have three years+ agency experience in creating impactful PR campaigns and in delivering consistent coverage. This is a hands-on role as the successful candidate will lead a number of accounts to deliver results that exceed client expectations. Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills are a must alongside excellent management, organisational, and planning skills.
You will be expected to understand communication strategies and know how this ties into wider marketing, plus have established and meaningful relationships with journalists. You will have strong leadership skills with experience of management in a PR environment, plus business development abilities with a track record of success.
They need a strong networker that is adept at building relationships at all levels. A strong communicator with a proven ability to present complex industry information to target audiences. Strong consumer experience and expert knowledge of B2B comms is a must.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
* The ability to lead and control a multitude of activities for themselves and their account teams. Delegation and high-level planning skills are a must.
* Excellent written communication skills are a must, as is excellent attention to detail.
* Previous experience in a similar role with strong experience of leading accounts and driving consistent PR results from their network of press contacts.
