About Our Client
We are supporting a creative and design business within the Widnes area who are recruiting an accounts payable assistant - permanent.
Job Description
1. Posting invoices to ledger, coding, matching, signing, and scanning invoices.
2. Dealing with internal and external customer queries.
3. Reconciliation of accounts to supplier statements.
4. Processing payments to suppliers.
5. Posting payments to purchase ledger.
6. Liaising with managers for approval of invoices.
The Successful Applicant
1. It is essential that applicants have purchase ledger experience.
2. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and within strict deadlines is essential.
3. Previous experience working within a busy finance office.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. A team player with the ability to work independently using their own initiative.
What's on Offer
1. Permanent role - 37.5 hour working week.
2. Working hours: 8am to 4.30pm, 8.30am - 5pm, 9am - 5.30pm.
3. 24 days holidays - plus Birthday off.
4. Based in Widnes - free car parking on site.
5. Competitive salary £26k upwards DOE.
6. Annual pay reviews.
7. Small accounts payable team - own ledger.
