Brook Street (UK) Ltd is delighted to work on behalf of a leading Public Sector Organisation to source an Executive Officer on a temporary-ongoing basis within the Accounts Payable department based in Ballymena.
General Office Administrative duties will include (and are not limited to):
* Checking and completion of all sales invoices as well as the creation of credit notes
* Manage the receipt and coding of all income
* Daily use of Oracle Financial system for invoicing purposes
* Ensuring all invoices are properly authorised
* Adding supplier codes/cost codes and batching all invoices
* Input of batches to Oracle via computer and authorisation of same
* Checking and amending any incorrect batches
* Maintenance of Supplier file such as preparing, creating and amending Supplier's details
* Weekly filing and sorting/distributing office mail
* Any other duties as required by the Accounts Manager i.e. supporting with staff training where required if necessary
* Provide administrative support in relation to all aspects of the work of the section using the full range of IT equipment including typing, databases, spreadsheets, email, intranet, and internet facilities.
* Provide advice and assistance to Education Authority officers, customers, the public and other professionals in respect of agreed aspects of the service.
* To assist in the collation of factual data and statistical information from various sources to support the work identified
* To prepare letters, minutes, notes, and other clerical support to officers as appropriate.
* Customer service (Telephone/directly customer facing)
The Successful Candidate will have:
* Have a minimum of two years' experience in an office based administrative role.
* NVQ Level 3, BTEC National in Business Administration OR a Finance related qualification or two 'A' levels in related subjects OR five years administrative experience.
* Desirable to have worked on Oracle financial system or Sage Accounts system for understanding proficiency of financial CRM systems
The rate of pay is £12.94 per hour.
