What You'll Do
As a Production Planner, you'll be at the heart of our team. Your role will include:
Production planning and scheduling so that there are clear production plans and master schedules to meet specifications, capacities sales and inventory targets
Monitoring inventory levels to strike a balance between producing to demand and not holding excess inventory
Providing reporting data to help to inform business decisions and review continuous improvement initiatives
Working collaboratively with other functions within the business to support them with their priorities
Being adaptable to change and have a solution focused approach to planning.
Your work as a Production Planner will help us bring joy to our customers with exceptional food.
What you will need
There is a right role for everyone and we want to set you up for success. For the Production Planner role we are looking for the following key skills and experience for this position:
An ability to demonstrate a strong level of literacy and numeracy
Clear understanding of planning fundamentals
Experience of using a planning or warehouse management system and an inventory control system
Positive communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively and with a solution focused approach
Experience within the food industry is desirable, manufacturing experience is essential
