This two-year incubator programme will provide immersive training with NI Water’s leading Data Analysts and subject matter experts with the opportunity to work on real life data analytics projects and work toward Microsoft certifications.
The opportunity to develop your skills is second to none. You will have access to the most in demand analysis products, develop analytical applications and carry out analysis on real life business projects. Below are details of some applications, desktop and mobile, developed in-house by the NI Water analytics team:
* Mobile application for monitoring energy reduction trials at wastewater treatment works
* Long term analysis of water demand
* Near real-time operational status monitoring
* Energy analytics
* Time series trend analysis
* Internal staff survey analysis

During our Business Analytics Graduate programme you will be supported and mentored through various rotations by members of the Business Analytics Team.

Essential Criteria
1. Candidates will be required to undertake competency-based tests within a computer-based assessment. These tests will assess candidates’ essential skills, literacy, numeracy and other key aptitudes for the role. In order to progress to the next stage of the selection process, candidates must achieve a satisfactory score in all key areas.
All candidates must provide a personal email address on their application form which will be required to undertake the computer-based assessment skills tests.
2. Have or expect to attain a minimum 2:2 Honours Degree in Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics OR a similar discipline Degree which has a significant mathematical content and has included creating mathematical or logical models at 1st August 2025.
3. Evidence of having written computer programmes within a course of study or otherwise.
4. Provide personal specific examples of using computer applications including MS Office Packages (to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Outlook).
5. Have the right to live and work in the UK. Please note NI Water is unable to provide sponsorship for visa applicants, as such applicants must hold the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK before an offer of employment is made.
6. Have a full, current driving licence* which enables them to drive in Northern Ireland and have a car available for official business, or, access to a form of transport which will enable them to meet the requirements of the post in full.
*NI Water will subsidise the cost of driving lessons for any successful candidates who wish to obtain their licence.

Starting salary for the role is £26,741 per annum (pay award pending)

Please note that regular attendance at the Westland Office will be required.
Hours of Working
37 hours per week.
