Recruitment & Resourcing Coordinator Full Time/ Permanent
SP 29 - 32 (£35,342 - £38,631)– Depending on experience & qualifications
Based at our St. Albans Campus with some travel to our Welwyn Garden City Campus. An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oaklands for a HR Recruitment & Resourcing Coordinator to lead a high level, proactive efficient and comprehensive recruitment service for the entire College from vacancy approval through to induction.
To ensure all aspects of safer recruitment embedded and take on the role of subject matter expert of resourcing and retention issues and best practice solutions. This role will make best use of information such as market information, exit details, staff turnover data and staff surveys to ensure that predicted staffing requirements are met. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and deliver a proactive recruitment service working closely with line managers.
• Develop specific attraction strategies to attract candidates to skills shortage and hard to recruit areas and reduce agency usage and spend.
• Line management of the Recruitment Officers.
• Review recruitment reports, metrics and performance data to inform, focus and take action within the departments.
• Work with the HR Projects & Resourcing Manager to maintain the Single Central Record (SCR) for all staff.
• Analyse HR management and workforce data information to support departments’
• understanding of trends within the workforce and develop solutions to address areas of challenge.
• Ensure the College adheres to the Ofsted statutory guidance and Keeping Children Safe in Education with particular focus on safer recruitment.
• Lead on specific campaigns to source and fill difficult to fill roles.
• Support and take action to ensure that appropriate focus and management is being taken to plan, progress and complete recruitment activity to ensure that vacancies are being prepared for and filled in a timely way.
• Support the sourcing of best calibre of candidates for vacancies e.g. through advertising, agencies, direct sourcing, social media and via the nurturing and usage of talent pools.
• Maintain and keep up to date all relevant recruitment systems.
• Continually research, develop and implement innovative and robust recruitment and pay and reward methods.
• Work closely with the Executive Director of People & Culture to ensure the lifecycle process is fit for purpose.
• To advise the Executive Director of People & Culture and HR Projects & Resourcing Manager on reward structures through salary benchmarking, reviewing salary structures and terms and conditions in order to ensure the College remains competitive in attracting and retaining employees.
