Demand Planning Manager

Salary: £50,000 to c.£60,000 (DOE) + Benefits

We're looking for a Demand Planning Manager to lead forecasting and demand planning for a leading food manufacturer in the northwest. You'll be working with data, trends, and cross-functional teams to create robust plans that balance commercial needs with supply chain efficiency.
About the Role:
You'll be a key part of the supply-chain team and the 'go-to' person for all things related to demand planning, working to ensure forecasts are accurate and aligned with business needs. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
1. Developing short, medium and long-term demand plans, utilising data and your experience to keep things on track.
2. Monitoring trends, promotions, new products, and delists, and adjusting forecasts accordingly.
3. Leading S&OP meetings, collaborating with teams from sales, marketing, and finance to create a clear plan.
4. Communicating critical changes to supply chain teams to keep everything running smoothly.
5. Identifying ways to improve forecasting processes and introducing new tools to make them even better.
About You:
We're looking for somebody who is data-focused, with a proactive approach to problem solving, who knows how to work with people to get the best results. Ideally, you'll have the following skills and experience:
1. 3-5 years' experience in demand planning gained in a Food, Drink, or FMCG environment.
2. Working closely with major retail customers.
3. Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel knowledge.
4. Great communication skills - you'll be presenting data and working with different teams at all levels.
5. A proactive mindset with a drive to improve processes and make a real impact.
