Your new role We have a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Helpdesk Supervisor to join our Bradford Schools Account in Integrated House, Tong High School, Westgate Hill Street ,Bradford, BD4 6NR. This role is based onsite. The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours Per Week ( Monday – Friday) The salary is dependent on experience. Amey delivers facilities and estate management services to the Bradford Schools Private Finance Initiative across an estate of 10 schools (7 secondary and 3 Special Educational Needs). We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools. You will be responsible for: Responsible for the collective Helpdesk performance, including ensuring the Helpdesk teams provide prompt and efficient service and support to enable the delivery of accurate and meaningful processes. Assist CAFM users to achieve operational service requirements, planning, carrying out and documenting PPM and any remedial works in line with the contractual requirements on the Bradford Schools Contracts. With Support from the Business Support Manager, Hard Services Manager and Operation Managers, apply technical knowledge and skills, to ensure best use of the CAFM system, using judgement to identify opportunities and initiate developments which improve effectiveness and efficiency. Plan and organise own workload. Communication with suppliers and sub-contractors Monitoring of remedial works generated by PPM or compliance tasks Review and Resolve queries and requests for information in relation to the CAFM system, escalate more specialist and complex queries to the CAFM Team Deliver training of the CAFM system and processes to the team, as necessary. Capture and ensure the integrity of the data held within the CAFM system is up-to-date and accurately maintained, at all times. Handle confidential information with discretion Perform other duties as requested by the Business Support Manager Comply with the relevant Health and Safety Policy and processes To present a professional image to all staff within Amey as well as external contacts Ensure all agreed client and internal Key Performance indicators (KPIs) are met Proactive decision making within the confines of the responsibilities We want to hear from you if you have: Strong working knowledge of CAFM systems including mobile devices. PFI Facilities Management desirable but not essential as training will be provide Experience of providing advice and guidance to a range of customers and colleagues. Experience of contributing to the delivery of buildings services. Experience in Microsoft Packages including Excel Able to establish work priorities, allocate accordingly. and manage time effectively. Can clearly describe and communicate situations that require remedial actions by others. Demonstrable ability to proactively work with team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality services. Demonstrable ability to produce clear and concise reports, specifications and instructions. Ability to interpret situations that require a prompt response and take the appropriate action.
