An established and highly regarded law firm in Hertfordshire is seeking a skilled Private Client Paralegal/Secretary to join their dynamic and expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to make an impact in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Role Overview:
As a Private Client Paralegal, you will provide essential support to the team, playing a key role in progressing client files and ensuring smooth administrative operations. You will work closely with fee earners, handling a variety of responsibilities, including drafting Wills, managing client communications, and maintaining case files to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and progress client files under team guidance, including drafting Wills.
* Respond to telephone inquiries and welcome walk-in clients with professionalism.
* Undertake audio-typing duties for fee earners.
* Maintain and update allocated cases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in a secretarial, assistant, or paralegal role within private client law.
* Strong expertise in progressing client files and managing casework.
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
* A high level of professionalism and discretion.

* Hybrid working arrangement following probation.
* Work hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:15 pm.
