Responsibilities
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to operate under our Walkers brand. You will manage your own territory, which will consist of over 120 stores, visiting around 10 – 15 per day. This role requires working independently each day and being able to think on your feet, so you will need to be self-motivated and have great time management skills.
No two days are the same here at PepsiCo, and each customer you deal with will require a bespoke service as they will be relying on you to advise them on which products are our best sellers, inform them of exciting upcoming offers, and relate your passion for our brand to their passion for their business.
This role requires a lot of individual performance; however, you will also be a part of a great team who can offer their expertise and knowledge as well as being a supportive network to utilise. In addition to delivering your individual KPIs, you will also be designated a Champion area to work on for the business as a delegate, keeping your team informed and helping them maximise their opportunities. This is a great opportunity for developing yourself and enabling you to network with others in the business.
Further responsibilities that you will carry out day to day include:
1. Cash and carry visit to collect stock.
2. Plan your day ahead using your call file and ensuring each store benefits from your visit.
3. Maintaining a safe work environment.
4. Build strong relationships with your customers to maximise your service to them.
5. Creating, growing, and maintaining your own personal portfolio.
6. Achieve and exceed business KPIs.
7. Champion an aspect of the role for the team you work with.
Qualifications
1. Full, manual, UK driving licence.
2. Selling skills (desirable).
3. Basic I.T. skills (desirable).
4. Effective communication and relationship building skills.
5. Experience of working to targets.
6. A 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond.
7. Perseverance and resilience in the pursuit of goals.
8. Responsible and ethical behaviour towards customers, suppliers, and others in the organisation.
9. Independent and pro-active individual who can work with minimal supervision.
