Product Management & Innovations Manager (F/M/X)
* As Manager of PM&I Travel, you will contribute to the profitable growth of Travel LoB within the Region.
* This role will focus on travel insurance market intelligence. As the travel market subject matter expert for our internal and external clients, you will support the strategic agenda for growth in the UK&I & Benelux travel business, working closely with sales to align the go-to-market strategy and the roll out to the markets with support of steered processes, enablement of sales forces, and sales material.
* Work with our partners to create inspiring marketing campaigns that showcase our innovations and highlight why we are market leaders, driving engagement/conversion to achieve our growth objectives .
* This is a regional role to leverage synergies within the region, support other countries, share information and best practices, and align the rollout of projects and products.
What you do
Key responsibility #1: Market and customer intelligence / customer experience
* Initiate regional/local market & consumer research for regional-specific needs; share with global team(s).
* Identify specific Customer Segments that best fit global strategy, product solutions, capabilities, etc.
* Perform regional/local competitive analysis (to be included in global assessment and/or product/marketing decisions).
* Define & deliver local customer experience enhancements .
* Conduct market assessments (locally) including growth trends, competitors and customer behaviors, expected profitability and target share/size, anticipating market developments in relevant industries and business environments.
* Feed into the LOB central source market knowledge and validate LOB working assumptions and competitive positioning relevant to BU.
Key responsibility #2: Strategic & product planning
* Contribute to LoB strategy, including local market and sales forecasts, value proposition, marketing plans, etc., ensuring alignment with global ambitions and regional/local budgets.
* Locally adapt commercial brand strategy .
* Ensure compliance (legal, regulatory, Group standards) of all consumer contents jointly with legal .
* Identify white spots and opportunities within the market for new products or service innovations and support implementation including providing feedback .
Key responsibility #3: Go-to-market and sales enablement
* Contribute to the media plan with a marketing mix (online/offline) to target the right customers at the right time.
* Enable the sales forces with compelling sales material .
* Support account managers with creative campaign design and execution.
* Apply research, regulatory standards, and other best practices to best position local/regional products and services .
* Execute brand strategy and launch activities that are most suitable to local situations (market, consumer, partner, regulatory).
* Locally adapt and implement optimization best practices and capabilities to relevant partners.
* Locally adapt training material and support sales trainings .
Other Responsibilities Include:
* Working closely with PR to support the UK comms strategy.
* CSR contribution.
What you bring
* 5+ years in a related product manager or marketing manager role (essential).
* Strong communication skills and experience managing varied stakeholders across all levels (essential).
* Offline or online marketing experience (essential).
* Insurance / financial services industry (desirable).
