The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: recent experience obtained within the last 2 years of working with children or young people or vulnerable adults, ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, mental health, play or care setting. We must be able to obtain references from these roles. The Role We are currently seeking an Inclusion and Mental Health Support Worker for work within our partner specialist provisions. The role involves supporting young people who may have with additional needs including SEMH responses and behaviours that may challenge as well as trauma related responses. You will be required to work within group and 1:1 settings with a range of ages and levels of learning. In order to be successful in this role, individual personality, resilience and a nurturing, patient and empathetic attitude are key. The School This setting supports a diverse group of pupils some of whom will have social and emotional difficulties and special needs. Requirements To be considered for this role you will: Have previous experience of working with children or young people; ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting within the last 2 years. We must be able to obtain valid references from these roles.
