The Senior Compliance Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of compliance risk across the Love2shop group, particularly Park Card Services Limited (FCA regulated). You will develop and lead a small team to drive a culture of compliance excellence, ensuring that business processes are conducted in compliance with laws and regulations, FCA regulatory standards, and approved business practices. This is a critical business enabling role that will uphold the vision for sustainable growth while providing a framework for all colleagues to operate within on this journey.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide assurance to the PayPoint Group Chief Financial Officer and senior stakeholders and the Board of Park Card Services Limited and any other relevant Boards in the Appreciate group on the robustness of policies, procedures, and internal compliance controls, whilst ensuring that companies in the Love2shop are complying with all regulatory requirements.
* Act as Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for Park Card Services Limited.
* Support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) ensuring that policies and procedures are in place that are well understood and consistently adopted by colleagues, and report on non-conformance.
* Take an active role in managing compliance within the business, providing training, increasing awareness, and implementing controls to embed high standards and mitigate regulatory risk.
* Promote and deliver a step change in the culture, such that compliance becomes part of the DNA/culture of the organisation.
* Act as the primary interface with the legal team and internal audit, ensuring regular communication and adherence to audit plans and commitments.
* Maintain productive and professional engagement with the FCA and banking partners in response to increasing regulatory requirements, making the executive and Board aware of regulatory changes & requirements that will impact the business.
* Engage and communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, suppliers, regulators, and other internal and external stakeholders.
* Implement changes recommended by external auditors as appropriate and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Accountabilities
* Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance frameworks on existing and emerging regulatory requirements.
* Oversee the effective interaction with Marketing and Product teams as a second line function for product compliance and product marketing approvals.
* Deliver effective GDPR compliance and control, focusing on data classification, collection, and control.
* Maintain regular interaction with the FCA as a key contact and liaison point, ensuring timely FCA reporting and notifications and e-monies safeguarding.
* Ensure internal policies and procedures comply with regulatory requirements.
* Significant experience of compliance at a senior level within an FCA regulated business.
* Ability to manage own workload with minimal supervision.
* Takes personal responsibility for getting the job done, hands-on and willing to roll sleeves up to deliver regulatory compliance.
