A well-established and highly regarded brand in the leisure and travel industry is seeking an experienced Communications Manager or Head of Communications to join their dynamic team. Despite their impressive growth, the company maintains a close-knit culture where teamwork and support play a key part in the company's ethos.
The role is multi-faceted and the successful candidate will need to exhibit a track record of:
1. Media relations
2. Crisis communications
3. Strategic thinking
4. Confident leadership and people management skills
Please note that due to the nature of this business, the role does not always follow a traditional 9-to-5 schedule. There may be times when availability outside standard working hours is necessary to meet business needs, so a degree of flexibility is essential. This is a hybrid role, allowing you to work remotely up to two days per week from the outset. The remaining days will be based in their Norfolk office. As mentioned, occasional flexibility beyond standard office hours may be required to align with business operations. The role is commutable from Ipswich, Norwich, Bury St. Edmunds and Cambridge.
Experience in a leisure or travel background will naturally set you in good stead, but the company is open to applications from candidates from any B2C background.
