Job Description
1. Full end to end payroll processing for all payrolls.
2. Complete payroll reconciliations and analysis.
3. Responsible for the administration of the payrolls without supervision, including administering RTI submissions and processing end of year forms P60, P45, P46, and P11D.
4. Liaison with sites/employees for any payroll queries.
5. Analysing and reporting on payroll data.
6. Auditing the payroll to ensure compliance with all government regulations.
7. Ad hoc duties as required.
8. Verify new starters' right to work and review starter pack.
9. Set up all new starters on all systems.
10. Maintain the Employee Benefits Schemes.
11. Maintain the Life Insurance Scheme - Issue Monthly Contracts of Employment from templates.
12. Issue Disciplinary/Absence/Termination Letters.
13. Provide all Payroll related advice required by the company.
14. Liaise with Management Accountant.
15. Report writing as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Manager should have:
1. A technically strong payroll professional - CIPP Qualified - Computer literate.
2. Extensive knowledge of PAYE/NIC and statutory payments e.g., Redundancy, SMP, and SSP.
3. Extensive knowledge of pension schemes including the Auto Enrolment process.
4. Proactively develop and keep up to date with new payroll legislation and compliance.
5. Confident and able to maintain good levels of communication.
6. Excel - Intermediate.
