We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as part of the podiatry team.
You will provide foot care, foot health education andindividualisedcareprogramsas directed by the Podiatrist for patients with a wide variety of clinical needs.
You should have a good standard of general education and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience of working in a caring role would bebeneficialhoweveron the jobtraining will be provided to enable you to fulfill the requirements of the role.
The post holder will be based inNewburyand be required to travel between clinics and visit patients in their own homes therefore a drivinglicenseand own transport is essential.
Enhanced DBS Certificate will berequired.
To work as part of a locality podiatry team whilst undertakingatraining programmespecific to foot health and Podiatry. To work as directed by the Podiatrist, in clinics, hospitals and patients homes to provide high quality clinical care.
To provide foot health education and individualised care programmes as directed by the referring Podiatrist for patients with a wide variety of clinical needs. Most commonly, care will be provided for patients who suffer from metabolic,vascularor neurological disorders that place the lower limbs in a compromised situation.
Working pattern + Service operating hours
• The post is0.53wte(20hours)
• The Team’s current operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8.45 am to 5.15pm but we encourage you to get in touch if you wish to enquire about flexibleworking.
