Swanstaff Ltd are currently looking for 4 x warehouse operatives
About the Role:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing, dispatching, and ensuring quality control for orders, as well as managing stock control processes and supporting exhibition stock preparation when required. Candidates should be detail-oriented, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and collaborative with a team-centred approach.
Key Responsibilities:
* Picking, preparing, and dispatching orders
* Managing internal and external queries professionally
* Conducting final checks on goods before dispatch to ensure accuracy in items, quantity, and quality
* Scheduling and booking deliveries with designated courier services
* Maintaining general warehouse and car park housekeeping
* Loading and unloading goods safely
* Cleaning and washing off-hired equipment to ensure it meets expected standards
* Receiving and inspecting off-hired equipment
* Reporting missing or damaged items to the relevant teams
* Assisting in stock control and regular inventory checks
* Supporting exhibition stock management and related tasks
Skills and Experience Required:
* Experience in a fast-paced warehouse setting
* IT literacy, including MS Office and warehouse management systems
* Strong communication skills for interacting with other departments via email, Teams, and phone
* Forklift license (preferred, though training can be provided)
* Valid driving license (preferred but not essential)
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £11.44-£12.44 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
* Weekend availability
