Social Worker/Experienced Social Worker - Assessment Team
Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Social Worker/Experienced Social Worker within the Assessment Team to work full time based in Bedford.
The salary for this permanent Social Worker/Experienced Social Worker job is up to £50,553 per annum.
Responsibilities:
1. Work in partnership with children, young people, and families/carers to elicit their needs and views and promote participation in decision making.
2. Undertake assessments in accordance with statutory/regulatory and operational standards, policy, and procedures for the service.
3. Plan, implement, and review a range of interventions for children, young people, and families/carers.
4. Manage a workload independently, seeking support and suggesting solutions for workload difficulties.
5. Make pro-active use of supervision to support effective practice and career development.
6. Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in accordance with the Council's policies and procedures.
7. Engage with colleagues and a range of organisations to identify, assess, plan for, and support the needs of children, young people, and families/carers.
8. Carry out all duties in accordance with the Council's Equal Opportunities Policy.
9. Meet the requirements of the Professional Capabilities Framework, Social Worker level, and of registration with HCPC.
Requirements:
1. A Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
2. Understanding of relevant legislation.
3. Registered or eligible for registration.
