We currently have an exciting opportunity in our IT Operations department for an IT Technician. In this role you will provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support across all of END. Clothing IT Services, fulfil standard Service Requests through the provision of hardware, software and system access and undertake IT related project work to achieve desired business outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
Key responsibilities:
1. Receive, record and investigate IT incidents
2. Manage Service Requests such as New Starter requests, replacement hardware etc.
3. Provision of 1st, 2nd and in some cases 3rd line support
4. Perform daily checks to ensure IT Services are running smoothly
5. Manage and maintain On-premise and Cloud infrastructure including:
o Virtual hosts and machines
o SAN/NAS
o Backups
o UPS
o Active Directory
o DHCP
o DNS
o SaaS platforms
6. Manage and maintain all network systems including:
o Switches
o Security appliances
o Telephony system
7. Provide end user training on new and existing systems
8. Liaising with 3rd Party Support vendors for quotations and support issues
What you'll be able to demonstrate:
Skills and experience:
1. Strong time-management, organisational and communicative skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
2. Experience of troubleshooting IT hardware and software.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Awareness of and proficiency with Active Directory, WSUS, O365, Microsoft Server and desktop technologies.
5. Experience with SAN solutions.
6. Experience of backup technologies such as VEAM.
7. Previous experience in corporate Network Infrastructure, including Cisco/Meraki technologies.
8. Hands-on experience with an ERP system would be an advantage along with an understanding of SQL.
9. Awareness of Warehouse operations.
