Violence & Aggression Training Officer (closing date: 20/02/25)
£31,067 to £34,314 per year. Swansea Council is looking to recruit a permanent full time (37 Hours per week) Specialist Violence & Aggression Training Officer, within the busy Health & Safety Training Unit.
The successful applicant will develop and deliver a range of Violence & Aggression training packages across the Authority, including bespoke training solutions for services. The post will also undertake V&A audits, create management reports and action plans to help protect our staff within an organisation that places the safety of staff at the forefront of the way we do business, taking a zero tolerance approach to violence and aggression towards our staff.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Lead Health & Safety Training Officer, working proactively in partnership with Health & Safety Officers, Trainers, and Stress Management Staff within a forward-thinking proactive service.
Consideration will be given for applicants who possess the necessary skills, aptitude, and experience to successfully fulfil the role, but require further qualification as ongoing professional development is key to the role.
