Overview We're looking for a Social Media Specialist to join the Good n' Proper team. You'll work across predominantly B2C brands, on a number of different social media platforms. Here's what your day-to-day will look like (when you're at work anyway, there's no expectation for your Saturday to look like this): Research social media trends and content opportunities. Be the go-to for what’s happening on social media and relevant opportunities for our clients. Keep on top of social media updates/best practices and brief the team on any relevant updates along with recommendations for how to utilise the platforms to get the most out of them for our clients Work closely with strategy documents to understand our approach to our client’s content and how this translates into creative ideas, campaigns and content Write all social media copy across all clients - using the Tone of Voice in place Make recommendations for updating/expanding on the current Tone of Voice documents Creative thinking— lead on social media campaign research and suggestions for our clients throughout the year. This would include understanding their strategy, conducting social-specific research, and working with the senior content specialist to pitch creative campaigns that make sense for our clients but also show something different. We don’t just want a repeat format or a one-size-fits-all approach; we want to present campaigns that feel creative. Be involved in the monthly creative meetings for our social retainer clients to map out the monthly content. This would include coming up with ideas for the specific posts that month (which tie in with the wider social campaign), and working closely with our content creator to ensure the visual represents the idea. Write internal content briefs for our internal Content Creator, so she’s able to create the content, and manage the feedback process through Use our social media planning tool to map out all monthly social media content Manage the social media planning tool, including client feedback, brief any amends internally and action any copy amends within the platform Schedule all social media content across all necessary platforms Help with influencer research and management to ensure that the right people are being chosen, and the right content is being produced Manage brand collaborations and recommendations Community management and management of stakeholers Be responsible for Good n’ Proper’s social media content (alongside the Content Creator) Source user-generated content across all clients’ social media channels to repurpose Monitor all social media content performance closely and make recommendations for how to improve About You Everyone’s different.
