2. About the role: This new post, based in Lochgilphead, meets the national drive to strengthen building standards regulation, undertaking inspections of building works at various stages in construction to assess compliance against the technical standards; responding to an investigation of dangerous building complaints, liaising with agents, contractors and stakeholders. Depending on qualifications/experience, the post will vett domestic building warrants.
