Our client is looking to appoint a maintenance and estates coordinator to pro-actively maintain high standards of maintenance and Health & Safety throughout a manufacturing facility.
Maintenance and Estate Coordinator - Responsibilities
1. You will need to be able to adopt a very hands-on, practical and flexible approach to property and facilities management.
2. Take ownership and ensure that all appliances, fixtures and fittings are safe and work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
3. Show teamwork and flexibility and complete any other reasonable tasks.
4. Respectfully manage the maintenance team in personal and professional development, including rotas, holiday requests, appraisals, disciplinary actions, training, and development.
5. Have experience of mechanical, electrical and joinery maintenance.
6. Show teamwork, flexibility and pride in responding to emergency calls for maintenance from all departments.
7. Be flexible and able to respond to changes in job priorities at short notice, ensuring that all priority maintenance jobs are completed.
8. Call out contractors and raise purchase orders as required.
9. Be passionate about attending training sessions and senior management meetings on a regular basis, passing on relevant information to the team.
Maintenance and Estate Coordinator - About You
1. Significant experience of working proactively and applying a solution-focused approach to challenges.
2. Proven ability to work well independently and as part of a larger team.
3. Due to the nature of the role, strong financial acumen is key, with the ability to control costs and project manage with budgets to tight deadlines.
