About Us In 1988, and until 2002, Classic Collection Holidays was a small tour operator selling upmarket package holidays to the Canary Islands, Madeira and Mallorca. From 2002 until 2018, the company grew to become a successful mid-sized predominantly tour-operator-to-travel-agent provider of mainly short-haul luxury holidays. On The Beach plc’s acquisition of, and investment in, Classic Collection Holidays in 2018, allowed the company, under independent management, to grow its portfolio of tailor-made luxury holidays for Classic Collection Holidays, and to launch two sibling brands, trade-friendly Classic Collection and trade-only booking portal, Classic Package Holidays. In May 2024, Classic Collection and Classic Package Holidays combined to become Classic Collection. Operating a single brand and a single platform, Classic Collection became 100% trade-focussed, and introduced a more efficient way of working to help exploit opportunities for growth to the benefit of agent partners, mutual customers and third party suppliers. What you’ll be doing This is a 9 month FTC. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trade Support Executive to join us. This is a role that brings high reward for hard work and the chance to develop an awesome career in the travel industry. Duties include: Provide support to the Trade Support Manager in organising events, training and roadshows Assist in maintaining the Agent Marketing toolkit with posters and training Regularly onboard agents on Classic Collection Holidays Monitor RSM feedback and action outstanding tasks such as marketing requests Assist with training presentations, attending roadshows and holiday shows Keep up to date with business and industry trends Preparation of ad hoc offers for agents Undertake work of a related nature or perform duties other than, or in addition to those outlined About you We ask that you are as passionate about travel as we are Skills that you will bring to the beach include: Effective communicator and the ability to build rapport Excellent computer skills Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively Commercial awareness of the travel industry Previous experience with quoting long haul, multi-centre and tailor making itineraries A positive attitude What to expect from our interview process This will involve a one hour interview with the hiring team via TEAMS We want to make sure everybody has the opportunity to perform at their best.
