Location Manager
Location: Hanover Court, Tettenhall
Hours: 10 per week, over two days
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum, pro rata
About the role
Working with different individuals every day, a Location Manager’s job is incredibly varied, and no two days are the same. We connect with our communities in various ways, and when you join the housing team, you’ll need a good balance of heart and head to manage property matters and relationships with residents.
The Location Manager is pivotal to the success, safety, and smooth running of a location. You will need to feel confident taking the lead on managing relationships with key internal and external partners and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure the location is safe, with all health and safety checks and risk assessments carried out according to policies and procedures.
2. Manage communal areas (e.g., lounge, guest room, kitchen) and work with residents to promote a positive living environment in later life.
3. Collaborate with property colleagues and contractors to ensure residents’ homes are well maintained and repairs are completed to a high standard.
4. Manage the location’s budget and service charge accounts.
5. Connect with residents and signpost them to access health and social services.
6. Promote inclusion in social events both internally and within the wider community, encouraging residents to engage with Anchor through resident involvement initiatives.
7. Build resident confidence by acting on their views, managing expectations, and delivering on commitments.
8. Resolve complaints within the service level agreement, keeping customers informed throughout.
