Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team, focusing on scientific and life science industries. As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and placing qualified candidates within our clients organisations. Your primary objective will be to build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates while effectively meeting their recruitment needs.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with new and existing clients to understand their specific hiring requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
Actively seek opportunities for business development and expansion within the scientific & life science industries.
Utilise various sourcing methods, including networking, job boards, social media, and referrals, to attract top talent in scientific and life science fields.
Screen CVs, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications and suitability for open positions.
Coordinate and facilitate the interview process between clients and candidates, providing guidance and support to both parties.
Manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, including negotiation of offers and onboarding assistance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client records in our database.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
Actively participate in networking events, industry conferences, and professional associations to expand your knowledge and network within the scientific and life science communities.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, or a related field would be adventurous but not essential.
Experience as a Recruitment Consultant or in a similar role, with a focus on scientific and life science recruitment.
In-depth understanding of scientific and life science industries, including key players, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a track record of closing successful placements.
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive and results-driven mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional service to clients and candidates alike.
