About the Role:
As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial duties, including:
* Payroll Processing: Manage the entire payroll function for approximately 20 employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries, deductions, and statutory submissions.
* Management Accounting: Prepare and analyze comprehensive management accounts to provide valuable insights into the business's financial performance, identifying key trends and areas for improvement.
* VAT Returns & Compliance: Handle all VAT-related activities, including returns, reconciliations, and ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations.
* Bank Reconciliations: Conduct accurate and timely bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
* Credit Control: Monitor and manage outstanding debts, proactively pursuing overdue payments and minimizing bad debt risk.
