Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our clients dynamic team. Our client based in the South, specializes in shop fit outs all over the UK and they have numerous projects in the Midlands and the North, that need urgent Management.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project development from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively and must be happy to travel from site to site. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to manage resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities:
* Manage 5-6 projects at any given time, providing a single point of contact for the client
* Managing sub-contractors for services such as flooring, plastering, plumbing etc.
* Control all commercial aspects of each project from inception through to completion including creation and control of an accurate project programme.
* Issue detailed monthly progress reports to clients
* Follow projects from enquiry to hand-over through to final accounts.
* Build and maintain excellent client relationships.
* Put in place health and safety plans, implementing and managing all aspects of risk control on site.
* Communicate company policies; quality control; health, safety and environmental standards to all members of the project team.
* Motivate and inspire teams whilst ensuring effective communication is maintained.
Experience:
* Experience managing joinery / shop-fitting / commercial fit-out projects.
* A joinery / construction background
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.

* Commercial and contractual management skills.
* Min. 2 years Project Management experience.
* Full UK driving Licence
Education:
NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry (preferred but not essential)
