Role Overview
In this role as the National Account Manager, you will be required to manage the business relationship with major national retailers. You will be responsible for proactively achieving business targets of revenue, profit and share within designated customers. Confidently able to manage a business portfolio and accountability for new account acquisition.
As the National Account Manager, you should have the experience and ability to build and own strong relationships with the appointed customers, aiming to gain a firm understanding of their strategy and direction alongside executing the channel strategy.
What you will bring to the picture:
* Establish and build strong customer relationships at all levels, focusing on Buyers/Senior Buyers, Marketing Managers and Stock Planners.
* Liaise with the Marketing team to develop promotions and tactical promotional activity.
* Deliver against business plan targets.
* Develop initiatives to bridge any gap between the sales forecast and the business plan.
* Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to identify further opportunities to grow business or reduce cost.
* Visit retail outlets regularly to ensure agreed activities are in place, products are displayed effectively, and the brand is represented to the agreed levels.
* Collaborate with Marketing to identify opportunities to grow business.
* Act as the main point of contact between Panasonic and the Customer, liaising with the various internal departments to resolve issues.
* Participate in monthly Purchase, Stock and Inventory meetings and other internal meetings.
* Monitor customer internet sites to gain market information.
* Continuously grow and focus on personal development using the Panasonic Leadership Principles.
