About the Role
We are looking for an experienced mechanical project manager to join our team on Hinkley Point C, the nuclear power station currently underway in Bridgwater, Somerset. This important management role involves executing the delivery of the mechanical packages, delivering the handover, and closing out the safety file for final handover. Crown House Technologies is proud to have been appointed for the M&E fit out of the Operations Service Centre at Hinkley Point C.
What Skills & Experience Are We Looking For?
* Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
* Ability to drive a regulated large-scale project.
* Nuclear/regulatory environment experience is an advantage.
* Previous project delivery experience of large highly regulated projects (MEP value of £15m – 100m+).
* The ability to select & manage innovative methods, use of materials & safe systems of work.
* Practical application of engineering principles and calculations.
* First degree in Engineering Discipline (Mechanical), or an industry-recognised technical or engineering qualification (NVQ level 4) plus demonstrable experience in a design and construction delivery environment.
* Establish and oversee local implementation of engineering systems, documentation/controls to comply with H&S legislation and company standards.
