Here at Shore Veterinary Centre, we are looking for a dedicated Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our close-knit team. The role is a part-time position working 20 hours per week and will consist of an equal split of both consults and surgeries plus dentistry work. You will also be required to occasionally work sole charge to cover holidays.
Hours of Work
We are opened from 8:30-6:30pm, with the ideal candidate working 9-10 hour shifts on Mondays or Tuesdays and a Friday plus 1:3 Saturdays 8:30 - 12pm. We are open to discussing some flexibility with working patterns/hours.
About the Team
We are a small but experienced team, with varied interests, ranging from dermatology to dentistry, with a certificate holder in medicine. Our nursing team is very experienced and proactive, with a certificate holder in nutrition and one working toward an anaesthesia certificate. The team is welcoming and supportive, consisting of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 dedicated Receptionists, and 2 Veterinary Care Assistants. We encourage case discussion, regular team meetings, and quality improvement. Further interests are welcomed and will be supported.
