PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
LEEDS SITE – WEST YORKSHIRE

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to work as a Payroll Administrator whose main purpose will be to provide high quality administrative support to our Payroll Team at our West Yorkshire site based in Leeds.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Calculating and processing accurate weekly, 4 weekly and monthly payments to employees by electronic transfer, ensuring strict deadlines are met.
2. Making manual payroll adjustments, as and when necessary.
3. Setting up new employees on time management/payroll systems and processing leavers.
4. Ensuring payroll information systems are set up and updated to reflect current employee base.
5. Generating relevant payroll paperwork, i.e. payslips P45s and P60s.
6. Dealing with both face to face and telephone enquiries for basic time management/payroll related issues, with a view to resolving any queries quickly and effectively.
7. Providing admin support for the processing of the Work-Place Pension Scheme, as well as the Company pension scheme.
Ideal candidates should have:
Previous knowledge and skills of payroll and benefits administration, as well as being familiar with HMRC and auto-enrolment systems. You should be able to demonstrate good analytical and numerical skills, as well as having a keen eye for attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills, together with the ability to prioritise your workload effectively and efficiently are also essential to this role.
This position is working between 25 - 35 hours per week (working hours are open to negotiation with a level of flexibility). The position is based on a hybrid working pattern home working and on-site attendance. The site is easily accessible by car and has the benefit of free on-site parking.
