Service Manager West Yorkshire £50-60k + £6.5k car allowance +
Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Service Manager to join a well established and successful, West Yorkshire based OEM. The Service Manager will manage the team that provides aftercare plans, equipment optimisation, inspections, refurbishments and repairs across a range of equipment and sectors.
Key aspects of the Service Manager role include;
1. Manage a team of Service Engineers, schedule works, manage customer enquiries whilst ensuring the Service Engineers are adequately trained both technically and in health & safety
2. Can demonstrate strong leadership skills
3. Can multitask and work well under pressure
4. Service Manager role could suit someone ready to move away from Service Engineering who is looking for more of a static role
5. Recruit new Service Engineers to the team when required
6. Issue work to team and monitor progress
7. The successful Service Manager is likely to have had previous team management experience, ideally in a service focused environment
8. Strong background in customer liaison
9. Background could be either Electrical or Mechanically biased
