The Delivery Project will manage exciting and unique projects for bespoke buildings for our lifts and escalators.
This role offers a chance to be involved in the full project lifecycle, from initial planning to execution. You will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and operating a planning system in accordance with the planning procedures, providing a consistently high level of service.
The office base will be based at our Barking office with 1-2 days a month working from our Clapham office for meetings.
Key Responsibilities
1. Produce programmes ensuring that all key design, procurement, and construction activities are captured, and logic linked to identify the critical path.
2. Collate & validate project progress & programme constraints and report to Management.
3. Regular visits to site to conduct review of progress and review with team delays, risks, and critical path analysis.
4. Ability to produce detailed programmes and options quickly as required by stakeholders.
5. Develop relationships with internal teams and clients.
6. Work closely with the Site Team to manage all programme and planning activities on the allocated project.
7. Prepare short term programmes and carry out any project specific exercises such as re-programming and allocating resources.
8. Attend meetings as required including team meetings, sub-contractor, and design meetings.
9. Monitor any changes and assess the impact on the agreed programmes.
10. Where applicable, carry out delay analysis and prepare reports to assist with any EOT applications.
11. Suggest programme recovery actions or programme betterment opportunities.
12. Maintain full change log records, for all programmes, as per Planning Process
Abilities & Skills
13. Methodical, imaginative, and analytical thinker, with practical construction experience combined with sound knowledge of planning, programming, and control processes.
14. Self-motivated with excellent time and project management skills
15. Excellent interpersonal skills
16. Ability to work unsupervised, individually or as part of a team, to a very high standard.
17. Proficient in communication (both written and verbal).
18. Organised and structured approach to your work.
19. Ability to work within an environment with deadlines while having to multi-task with multiple priorities.
20. High attention to detail.
21. Previous experience with site logistics planning is a bonus.
22. Demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of development, procurement, construction, commissioning.
23. Knowledge of the key features of common forms of contracts in UK.
24. Experience using Asta and (or) P6 and Microsoft Project.
25. Would suit an intermediate level planner.
