Maintenance Engineer

£42,600
Double Days (Mon – Fri) – Early Finish Friday

We are looking for a mechanically biased maintenance engineer to join our manufacturing facility in Tamworth. As a company, we operate across 4 continents and have substantial investment plans for the next 12 months to completely modernise our manufacturing facility based in Tamworth. We are currently a small team of 4 and are looking for a multi-skilled engineer with a mechanical bias to help support our expansion.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include a mixture of reactive and planned maintenance. You’ll be repairing and maintaining a wide variety of machinery including filling machines, mixing machines, picking robots, extrusion machines, compressor systems, amongst other plant-based machinery. Some of our machinery is quite bespoke, and full in-house training will be provided.
The Successful Engineer
1. Multi-skilled engineer with a mechanical bias (70:30 mechanical is ideal).
2. Recognised level 3 maintenance related qualification is desirable (City and Guilds, NVQ, HNC/HND, Indentured Apprenticeship).
3. Prior experience as a multi-skilled engineer in a manufacturing environment would be desirable; however, engineers from all industrial backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
