Position: Bench Joiner
Location: Wolverhampton
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 14:00pm
Hourly Wage: £14.50 - £15 per hour
Overview: Our esteemed client is currently in search of an experienced Workshop Operative to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assembling joints.
* Finishing tasks such as sanding and applying patterns.
* Priming painting surfaces.
* Installing hardwood lipping's and rebates.
* Treating hardwood lipping's with Osmo.
* Matching, sizing, and cutting veneers.
* Sanding door faces and veneers.
* Installing glazing and window beads.
* Checking specification sheets for required ironmongery.
* Installing ironmongery.
* Pre-hanging doors in the workshop prior to dispatch to ensure a perfect fit on site.
* Familiarizing yourself with upcoming jobs.
* Identifying and addressing potential discrepancies to prevent manufacturing delays.
* Regularly reviewing and checking sizes and specifications against the product being worked on to avoid errors early in the process.
