The Role As an Associate Solicitor in our Private Client department, you will manage a diverse and complex caseload with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include: Client Relationship Management: Provide high-quality legal advice and nurture client relationships. Performance and Mentorship: Meet fee targets and mentor junior colleagues. Time and Financial Management: Efficiently manage time and ensure effective billing and profitability. Cost-Efficient Service Delivery: Deliver cost-effective legal services using technology. Delegation and Team Contribution: Delegate casework to maximize team performance. Performance Reporting: Update on key performance indicators and improve efficiency. Client Value and Profitability: Add value to clients and improve profitability through cross-referrals and additional services. Reputation Building: Enhance the firm’s reputation and attract new clients. Marketing and Business Development: Lead marketing initiatives and contribute to publications. Continued Professional Development: Pursue additional qualifications like STEP certification. Skills and Qualifications Law degree, LPC, and 2-year training contract, or equivalent qualifications.
