We are looking for a National Business Development Manager to drive new Client acquisition. Belcan, a Cognizant company is an engineering services provider with an excellent workforce solution offering, this role will sit within the workforce team. You will have the flexibility to develop your pipeline and will be supported by an excellent delivery function. You will liaise across all the internal functions of Belcan in the UK as well as having direct relationships with the US sales team to ensure that collaboration exists on Global target accounts. You will need the ability to design and deliver customer solutions ensuring initial relationship build, through to account penetration and growth. You will have come from a background where you have been both opportunistic and have long term strategic targets.
Responsibilities
* New business development and account penetration, Identify and engage with potential clients to expand the company's market presence.
* Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
* Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
* Arrange and conduct business meetings with prospective clients.
* Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
* Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to legal guidelines.
* Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
* Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
* Support Development of entry level staff into valuable salespeople.
Requirements and skills
* Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, 360 recruitment Consultant or a relevant role within the recruitment industry.
* Demonstrated success in sales.
* Experience in providing excellent customer support.
* Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ATS software.
* In-depth understanding of market knowledge and dynamics.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build strong relationships.
* Effective time management and planning skills.
* Understanding of IR35, AWR, and other relevant regulations.
