Complex Outreach Support Worker

Experience in healthcare, understanding of learning disabilities, epilepsy, and challenging behaviours, as well as a compassionate approach to care are all desired. Use own initiative whilst lone working in the community. The ideal candidate will have experience in PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, suctioning/cough assist, and possess knowledge in diabetes care and catheter care.

Salary: 12.50 per hour
Hours: Bank/Relief – flexibility required
Hours: Monday to Friday 8 am - 5 pm approximately / weekends occasionally (flexibility is required for this role)
Holidays: 33 days per year (pro rata)
CJP Outreach services - We are looking to recruit additional candidates for our complex Care Team who will be looking after a variety of individuals with complex medical health needs. We are looking for engaging, compassionate and reliable support workers to join out friendly team. Ideally the right person will have experience with complex care needs - diabetes, peg feeds, epilepsy, tracheostomy / ventilation, cough assist, manual handling and personal care needs.
Car drivers are not essential for this role .

Duties include personalized care, management of epilepsy, addressing challenging behaviours with empathy, assisting with mobility challenges, adapting communication methods for visual impairment, and fostering emotional well-being.
Work closely with the individual and their support network to tailor care to their specific needs.
Our refer a friend scheme is worth £200 in total. This is split £100 after the person has worked 100 hours and then another £100 when they have passed probation (6 months usually).
