About The Role
The Head of UK Sales is responsible for managing our UK Sales Function and delivering agreed revenue growth. You’ll be an experienced and dynamic leader of people that can successfully execute our ambitious growth plans, maintain profitability and drive performance across individual and market new business, conversion rates and build winning strategies to keep IMSM at the forefront of the market.
You’ll be a clear and effective communicator who can build rapport and trust with our people and work with them to be their best. You’ll live and breathe continuous improvement and through disciplined use of CRM ensure we continually review outcomes and trends to deliver a best-in-class sales organisation.
Role and Responsibilities:
Country Management
* Own the Sales Number – You’ll be accountable for delivering new business revenue in line with agreed objectives and sales plans.
* Lead, Coach and Inspire – Manage and develop a team of Sales Managers, Sales Support (Account Executive) and contract management of self-employed Business Partners who provide sales services. Continual development of the team and act as a mentor.
* Support in building opportunities with the team and closing support
* Drive Partner & Channel Growth - Proactively identify strategic partnerships and opportunities in market. You’ll thrive on the thrill of the deal and set an example for others.
* Maximise Conversion – Own our sales funnel and implement best practices to increase win rates, shorten deal cycles, and improve efficiency. Drive cross and upsell Leverage relationships to sell into our Partner Brands, including Worknest (HR & H&S), Bulletproof/PenTestPeople (Cyber), and Vantify (Compliance). Provide accurate reporting and forecasting, including sales figures, pipeline and performance KPIs
* Champion our CRM and ensure its accurate use throughout the market
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* 5+ Years in Sales Leadership, preferably B2B/Professional Services
* Experience in consultative selling – you sell value, not just features
* A passionate leader of people able to inspire trust and confidence
* Proven experience building and executing growth strategies
* Strong analytical skills, with experience in managing and interpreting data
* Commercially savvy, highly organised with project management skills
* UK based with a Full Driving Licence
Desirable
* Familiarity with ISO standards or certification processes
* Knowledge of HubSpot CRM/Salesforce
* Background in cross-selling within a partner ecosystem
