Job Description:
We are working on an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join the team at a leading financial services firm. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing multiple regulatory remediation projects from inception through to delivery.
Skills/Experience:
* Experience working in Change Delivery within Financial Services
* Experience of Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies
* Experience of working with outsourced service providers
* Prince 2 or equivalent
* Project planning experience
* Resource, change and budget management experience
* Excellent influencing & negotiation skills
Core Responsibilities:
* Managing projects within the agreed budget, applying the defined change management processes when required
* Formulating and updating project plans and maintaining schedules
* Creation and maintenance of RAID logs
* Reviewing and monitoring progress against project plans to ensure outputs are delivered to time, budget and quality specifications
* Managing risks, issues and resources to ensure milestone dates are achieved
* Estimating project costs as required
* Reporting project progress in line with stated policies and procedures
* Regular communication with stakeholders
* Establishing teams to ensure the efficient delivery of projects (such teams to be either real or virtual)
* Setting project objectives and working within a matrix management environment
