The Role and Candidate
The Key Account function will play a central role in driving POP MART’s expansion throughout European markets. Reporting to the European Commercial, this position is focused on nurturing client relationships, managing strategic partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with sales teams and internal departments to enhance client engagement and drive revenue growth, contributing significantly to POP MART’s market penetration objectives.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the main point of contact for all client concerns and needs
* Build and strengthen client relationships to support long-term partnerships
* Maintain accurate client records, tracking contract updates and renewals
* Collaborate with sales teams and other internal departments to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are met
* Develop a thorough understanding of our products and services to effectively upsell and cross-sell to clients
* Stay informed on market trends, proactively providing data and insights to business partners and internal teams
* Attend toy shows and previews to stay knowledgeable about brands and product lines
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience for the Executive level or at least 6 years for the Manager level
* Previous experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods or Mass-Market Retailer sectors is preferred
* Background in Account Management or related functions such as forecasting, category management, promotional planning, or buying
* Prior experience in the Toy or Grocery Industry
* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate ideas effectively and influence others to achieve objectives
* Ability to build positive, long-term client relationships and exert influence as needed
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise strategically and manage distractions that may impact objectives
Desirable but Not Essential
* Familiarity with European retail landscapes
* Knowledge of designer toy and collectible trends, particularly in the art toy market
* Experience in international business development and cross-cultural negotiations
