About us
We are a mission-driven accessibility start-up dedicated to transforming how neurodivergent individuals navigate their educational and professional journeys.
Since launching our first product, Present Pal, back in 2018, Estendio has empowered students across over 150 universities in the UK and US to excel in their presentations and communication skills, growing to a team of 17. Building on this success, we are now launching our second product, Tailo, an innovative reading platform designed to revolutionise content accessibility and comprehension.
Our vision is to make inclusivity the standard, not the exception. If you’re ready to help a brilliant team who are all committed to levelling the playing field through our brilliant tech then we’d love to talk to you!
What we’re looking for
We are seeking a creative, driven Senior Product Manager who is passionate about accessibility and user experience. You’ll thrive in a mission-led environment and be ready to own, shape, and drive our product roadmap to make reading easier and more accessible for neurodivergent readers. You’ll be working cross-functionally and collaborating closely with design, engineering and marketing to create impactful, user-centric product experiences.
Reporting to Linda, our Director of Product, you’ll be a key part of a creative and fast-paced team working alongside our Lead Product Designer and Senior UX Designer.
What you’ll be doing
* Helping define and ensure delivery of the product vision, strategy and roadmap for both of Estendio’s products. With an initial focus on Tailo, you'll be ensuring alignment with company goals and user needs.
* Managing product development cycles from conception to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
* Collaborating with design, engineering, marketing and sales to deliver product value that enhances the user experience and supports the company goals.
* Conducting market research, competitive analysis and user research to identify opportunities for product enhancements and innovation.
* Working closely with neurodivergent users and gathering insights to identify pain points, ensuring our product effectively solves real problems.
* Continuously measuring product performance, using data and user feedback to inform iterations and improvements.
* Contributing to agile scrum practices, including participation in stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning and retrospectives.
What this actually looks like
You’ll start your day with a stand-up meeting, where you collaborate with your team to discuss ongoing projects, address any blockers, and align on priorities for the day. Your day could continue with some of the following:
* Sitting in on user research sessions led by the Lead Product Designer, collaborating to gather insights, identify pain points and refine product features based on feedback from neurodivergent users.
* Collaborating with UX/UI designers to review low fidelity designs and prototypes, ensuring they align with user needs and business requirements before moving into development.
* Participating in agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming and sprint planning, helping to prioritise tasks and define key deliverables for the upcoming sprint.
* Working closely with engineering teams to unlock progress of feature development, ensuring high-quality delivery and timely launches.
* Conducting market research and competitive analysis, identifying new opportunities for product enhancements and innovation.
* Analysing product performance metrics and user feedback, using insights to inform future iterations and adjustments to the product roadmap.
* Engaging in cross-functional meetings with marketing and sales to align product positioning and messaging, ensuring that the value of the products is effectively communicated to users and stakeholders.
Requirements
Experience
You’ll be successful in this role if you bring the following;
* Significant proven experience in product management, preferably within an EdTech or accessibility-focused environment and knowledge or AI/ML.
* Demonstrable experience leading cross-functional teams and managing the entire product lifecycle within an agile environment.
* Strong track record of delivering successful products, ideally those solving real-world problems.
* Experience working with user data and research to inform product decisions.
* Hands-on experience working in a small to medium startup environment, where you’ve demonstrated the ability to switch between practical execution and strategic thinking.
Skills
* Ability to unpack ambiguous problems and form clarity and direction for solutions.
* Proficient in prioritising and balancing resources, while ensuring milestones are met on time, and with high quality.
* Comfortable working on multiple initiatives and balancing many priorities simultaneously.
* Strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills with the ability to bring different stakeholders including designers and engineers on board.
* A data-driven mindset with experience in using metrics and feedback to iterate on product features.
* A strategic thinker who can translate vision into actionable plans.
* Ideally an understanding of accessibility challenges, especially those faced by neurodivergent individuals.
About you
* You’ll thrive being part of an early-stage startup, with all the challenges, ambiguity and excitement that brings. If you’ve worked in an agile environment, all the better.
* You’ll be ambitious for growth both for yourself and for Estendio and you’ll be someone who truly embodies a growth mindset in embracing challenges, learning from feedback and being able to pivot quickly.
* Adaptability is one of our key values so you’ll need resilience to cope in a fast-paced environment, a can-do attitude and the ability to roll your sleeves up and get on with every part of the work.
* You’ll bring a positive energy to the company team dynamic - we are a small but close team so you’ll be someone who works in a self-directed but very collaborative way.
* You’ll be someone who can balance both creative and analytical thinking and deliver results quickly without compromising on quality.
* A commitment to inclusivity and building accessible, impactful tech solutions.
We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable with change, open to experimenting, and ready to grow with us as we navigate exciting opportunities and fresh directions. If you’re flexible, adaptable, and energised by the ever-evolving nature of a startup, you’ll fit right in!

Our recruitment process
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of who we are and what we do.
We encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities and we are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments that you require.
We also recognise the many talents and advantages of being neurodivergent so we are very open to applicants with neurological differences.
We have a 3 stage process to make sure we’re getting the right people to join our team.
Stage 1
First, we’ll schedule a quick informal chat to work out if we think at this stage we are a good fit for each other. Sometimes, instead of a call we might ask you a few questions via an online video platform.
Stage 2
If this goes well then we follow up with a second stage interview to talk more about your skills, experience and personal attributes. We also include in this stage a culture fit focus where we really zone in on our company values and make sure we’re really well aligned to each other.
Stage 3
Lastly, we aim to meet people face to face so that we can properly see how we interact together in a more human way. This is usually by way of an informal coffee meet with one or two of the team.
