Join our innovative engineering client and help shape the future of cutting-edge technology! Our Nanotechnology client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to drive hardware architecture development for machine tooling and retrofits, improving production processes and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop 3D models, 2D drawings, and prototypes to enhance manufacturing processes.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve design, quality, and manufacturability.
3. Own and manage prototype development, ensuring they meet standards and are validated for production.
4. Assist R&D, Service & Support, and Manufacturing teams as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Design Engineering (or equivalent).
2. Strong SolidWorks skills and experience with manufacturing processes (machining, molding, stamping).
3. Problem-solving expertise and a creative approach to engineering challenges.
4. Proven experience in full product development cycles, from prototyping to production.
5. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Desirable Skills:
1. Experience with CAE techniques, FMEAs, and Design Verification Plans.
2. Familiarity with CE/UL standards.
