We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and committed individual to join our Head Office team in the role of Maintenance Technician. As a Maintenance Technician you will • Be responsible for the maintenance and repairs on a day-to-day basis • Perform general repairs to the building, doors, windows, toilets, change light fittings and painting • Operate plant and equipment for Air handling, Air Conditioning and swimming pool plant (training will be provided) • Assist the Maintenance Manager with the planned programme of preventative maintenance, and assist in replacement for plant and equipment • Be responsible for the maintenance schedules to maintain all plant and equipment and machinery to their maximum efficiency and life span. Report major defects to the maintenance manager • Manage on-site contractors as informed and ensure work is complete as specified • Issue contractors permit to work as required, maintain all worksheets provided by contractors • Assist the Maintenance Manager and other site technicians when required at other facilities • Be based at the Bradley Stoke Active Lifestyle Centre but travel between sites - you will be reimbursed for travel to other centres We want to hear from you if you • Are qualified in a building services trade to HNC or BTEC First Diploma, or an equivalent level of qualification • Have relevant experience in the operation and maintenance of building services to include the day-to-day repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment • Are able to demonstrate the ability to manage all related building services Please download the job description on our website for full details of the role.
