Nursery: Bright Horizons Teddies Loughton Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary: Starting from £40,174 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)
Location: Loughton, Essex
We are looking for a full time, qualified Nursery Manager to join our Baby room at Bright Horizons Teddies Loughton, situated in Loughton, Essex. Our Nursery in Loughton is set on the grounds of Debden Park High School and is rated 'Good' by Ofsted.

What you’ll be doing
1. Lead our nursery teams to deliver outstanding care to all the children in your setting
2. Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance in the nursery
3. Work in partnership with Recruitment and HR to ensure your nursery is fully recruited, encouraging a diverse workforce
4. Role model and mentor your nursery team to ensure the highest quality early childhood practice
5. Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery, holding overall responsibility for the day to day running of the nursery
6. Work with HR to identify succession plans for the nursery team
7. Work with the Regional Director, Finance and Marketing teams to identify and implement commercial plans
8. Engage with the Local Authority to understand the local offer
What we’re looking for
1. Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
2. Experience within an Early Years leadership role
3. Experience of participating with a regulatory inspection
4. Experience of developing high performance teams
5. Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
6. Ability to build trust and strong working relationships
