Job overview
United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals (ULTH) is eager to announce a rare opportunity for an MRI Modality lead.
As a BScMR accredited site, the MRI services at United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals have undergone exciting expansion.
This is a deferment; the candidate will start no earlier than May 2025.
Main duties of the job
Working closely with the Operational team and MRI clinical specialist, this post will provide professional, operational and strategic vision/leadership for ULTH MRI services.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
* Responsible for the effective and efficient running of MRI across the Trust.
* Lead, manage and assess processes within procurement and evaluation of imaging equipment.
* Identify imaging service development opportunities through analysis of service delivery and clinical developments.
* Responsible for radiology services input into workforce planning.
Person specification
Qualifications
* HCPC Registration
* Management qualification Post Graduate degree at Master’s level (or working towards)
* Project management course
* Teaching courses/qualifications
Experience
* Substantial experience in leading and managing diagnostic services.
* Experience of budget management and service monitoring.
* Very well-developed communication skills.
