Actively managing your own diary and workload, you will be working within the B2B Sales department, proactively contacting potential business customers to identify new business opportunities. As a Business Development Executive some of the duties will include: Identify new and existing business opportunities to increase sales and aid Company growth Prospect potential clients through a number of channels including cold calls, visits, referrals and networking Ensure all business leads are followed up in a timely manner with the aim to arrange a customer meeting Research new markets that can be penetrated for business growth and ways to reach these Establish a rapport with current and potential clients to build key customer relationships Ensure selling techniques mirror the Company’s values Track and record all activity on customer accounts, including potential customers Arrange visits to potential new sites to assess them for viability and to meet with the client Maintain regular contact with existing clients, including meetings, telephone calls and emails Present new products and services to existing clients to enhance business Monitor competitor activity and carry out analysis of their services and prices Research, exhibit, attend and present at trade shows and exhibitions that may be beneficial for the Company as agreed with line manager This is a permanent position working full-time Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, with a 1 hour lunch break, earning a salary of £32,000 per annum plus commission and a company car.
