Role - Quality Supervisor
Location - Berkshire
Salary - £25,000 - £30,000
Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Supervisor to join their team and play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and compliance.
The Role:
As a Quality Supervisor, you will be a key technical presence within the factory, working closely with various departments to promote efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with food safety standards.
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you will:
- Manage and develop a small team of Quality Assurance (QA) professionals.
- Deliver training and ensure effective communication across all departments.
- Lead investigations into complaints and non-conformances using root cause analysis.
- Identify and address training needs to support continuous improvement.
- Support the maintenance and implementation of HACCP systems.
- Assist the Quality Manager with external audits and ensure the factory is always audit-ready.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar Quality Supervisor role within the food industry.
- Strong understanding of BRC and retailer standards.
- Proven experience leading and developing a team.
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP principles.
- Ability to adapt, learn, and drive continuous improvement.
